All items are cut to size, all holes are routed and pilot holes are drilled. All you need to do is put the pieces together with our simple to understand instructions and drawings, and secure with screws or bolts.

Care

This product is virtually maintenance free. To keep clean use soap and water to wipe down. For tougher stains it is recommended to use lacquer thinner.

        I used a pair of these pretty, low maintenance, white vinyl trellises to replace our previous, taller, old broken wooden pair on either side of our front door,against the house,for our climbing rose bushes.This new vinyl trellis is sturdy enough to also support my mailbox,which I hang from one of the trellis rungs with wire. To install the trellises, I was able to simply insert the metal brackets/stakes up the bottoms of the two hollow vertical rails of the trellis. The lowest horizontal rung keeps the bracket/stake from going any higher into the vertical rail.In this way I avoided having to screw through the metal bracket/stake and the vinyl hollow trellis vertical railing to attach the two parts.I used the old long nails, which were inserted into our brick house, and which supported the old/previous/wooden trellises to secure the top corners of the new vinyl trellises with white string, just because the nails were already there.The one side area next to the door of our house, which is narrower because it is between the door and a bay window, wasn't wide enough to put both stakes into the ground. So, I am resting that trellis' left vinyl leg (without a bracket/stake) directly on our low concrete stoop, which is wider than our front door. I was able to center the trellis within that brick area and keep that trellis straight with one trellis leg (with a stake)anchored in the dirt and the other trellis leg (without a stake) resting on the edge of our stoop. To help keep the bracket/stake sinking too much into the dirt(to keep the trellis staight and centered) I put a thin wide stone under the stake. Stones/shims can be inserted under each trellis leg to keep the trellises straight & centered. To prevent any possible future rust stains from showing--just in case,I put the side of the trellis with the screws&their screw covers against the house. These vinyl trellises are very pretty and their being shorter than the old ones is not a problem at all. I installed them two days ago and I've received compliements already.
