Description

The Nantucket Trellis exudes beauty through its eye-pleasing design. This classic garden trellis can be placed against an outside wall or used anywhere in your yard or garden. Provides visual appeal and privacy near pools or hot tubs. The traditional lattice panel is the perfect foundation for flowers, plants, and climbing vines.


Made of premium high-grade polyvinyl and polyethylene, this trellis is durable and maintenance-free. This white material will not fade over time and will never need painting. A 20-year manufacturer warranty is offered on this product for peace of mind. Simple assembly is required and includes detailed instructions. The trellis legs are 3.5 x 3.5 inches for strength and stability, and should be buried approximately 12 inches into the ground. Ships in two boxes.

      This is a beautiful trellis. It comes with self taping screws, but drill a starter hole so screws won't slip. Also, I used masking tape to hold pieces in place while I drilled and screwed in the screws. Vinyl is really slippery and this helped a great deal since I was assembling the trellis by myself. The arch was a bit difficult to put together. The opening were so tight I ened up putting dish soap around both sides to help insert the correct pieces. Keep in mind, it was meant to sink posts in ground about 12". I failed to read that part and was not looking forward to digging 2 12" holes. However, I did and like I said, it looks beautiful!!

        I have not begun to grow a climbing plant on these trellises, but I feel there a very few privacy trellis options that are tall enough to actually give the privacy most people are looking for. This trellis does! I am hoping that the climbing plants can "stick" to the smooth texture of the PVC trellis material. I guess I will find out. Most climbing plants need a texture (wood) to "grab" on.

          The only draw back has been not receiving all the pieces to assemble the trellis. First two short spokes were missing from one (I bought 2) then the second one arrived minus two short spokes and the lattice piece of the trellis. I'm still waiting for the missing pieces so we can complete the trellis. I like the one that is assembled and it looks gresat against my house.

              In general, this is a good value. It took us a while to figure out that the seam in the top and bottom rails was there to allow the lattice to slide in, and the directions did not mention this. We are using two of these as free standing trellises in the garden and installed them to a depth of one foot as recommended and added quickcrete. This should be adequate to support a climbing rose bush.
