      We were impressed by the value of this item and the low cost shipping. It arrived efficiently packed in a long thin box. Although there were many pieces, the instructions were clear. It took two of us a little over an hour to assemble, and then another hour or so to install it. We sank the back two posts in the dirt with the included stakes, but we couldn't do that with the front posts that were adjacent to our existing fence (because of the concrete where the fence posts were sunk). So we drilled through the front posts of the arbor and used long screws to affix it to our fence posts. Not the most attractive solution, but it works. I guess you could also use brackets for the same purpose.

      Because of its size, we had to assemble it in the driveway, and we did find that it scratched pretty easily. It might be best to assemble it on a lawn (which we don't have), or put cardboard or some other material under it to assemble it.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        My arbor arrived quickly and my husband helped me assemble it. It's lightweight but sturdy and I'm so pleased with it. I'm using it at a side gate to make the entrance more attractive. It is just so pretty I can't stop looking at it. Once my clematis grows up the side, it will be stunning. My only concern is wind and we really get strong wind here. The anchors are sturdy, but only go up into the legs a short distance. Otherwise, it's perfect!

          I am retiring a flimsy metal arbor with this new arbor. It definitely requires two people to assemble but other than that it went together fairly easily. The instructions were clear and the packaging was excellent. I am very pleased with this new arbor it is a nice addition to my front yard.

          Q1: Does this arbor come in a color other than white, like a sandstone?

          A: This arbor comes in two different colors, white which is Item#DU064 and in mocha which is Item#DU099.  By entering those numbers in the search box it will give you all the information about them.

          Q2: Will this arbor stand on its own for a wedding ceremony indoors?

          A: Yes this will stand up by its self, but it wont be very sturdy.

          Q3: What are the dimensions of the posts?

          A: 2" X 2"
